| Trip Name | Barossa – The Next Evolution |
| Host | Barossa Australia |
| Date | 12 April to 14 April |
| Capacity | Minimum – 10 guests – Maximum – 20 guests |
Barossa and our wines continue to evolve whilst being true to the core values that have always driven our people; challenging the status quo, our quest for mastery and taking our wines and stories to the world.
Join us on a deep dive of what defines the Barossa through the exploration of themes including:
Barossa is Australia’s most iconic wine region - a single zone made up of two regions; Barossa Valley and Eden Valley, where generations of growers and winemakers have shaped a landscape now celebrated worldwide.
Long before vineyards were planted, First Nations peoples recognised the richness of this place, defined by its fertile soils and abundant natural resources. Later, German and English settlers brought their own traditions of farming, pickling, fermenting and craftsmanship, creating the farm and food cultures that still define Barossa today.
Across more than 90 cellar doors, 500+ grape-growing families, 220+ wineries and a remarkable diversity of soils and elevations, Barossa offers a spectrum of wine styles: rich, generous Shiraz and Cabernet; vibrant, perfumed Grenache; and the cool-climate tension of Eden Valley Riesling and Chardonnay. Plus, increasingly growers and wineries are exploring the opportunities of varieties suited to the Mediterranean climate.
The Barossa Valley climate is warm and dry, ideal for consistent ripening, while the higher, cooler ridgelines of Eden Valley bring finesse, aromatics and purity.
Beyond the glass, Barossa is a destination for curiosity - sunrise hot-air ballooning, cycling through vineyards, village-style towns, festivals and seasonal produce traditions that have been passed down for generations. You’ll find innovation alongside heritage, with premium wine experiences delivered with unmistakable Australian friendliness. This is a region where old vines and old skills meet bold ideas, creating a strong sense of place that continues to evolve.
Transfer to and from the Barossa from a central meeting point in Adelaide CBD.
